TESTIMONIALS
“During the time Trent was with Sunrise2sunrise Community Care as an Art Therapist, he developed a group program for Youth who are living with Autism.
Trent developed a space that was fun and playful, while also allowing the Youth to be creative and expressive through their art, with one another and directly with Trent. Providing a platform of opportunity where they could forget their worries and feel safe, unjudged and supported, so as to be their true self.
The Youth all looked forward to attending the group every week, to see one another and Trent, to celebrate their joys, their differences and feel empowered and proud of who they are. The narrative throughout sessions was not about the outcome of the art itself but did celebrate and rejoice their talents and contributions.
The classes definitely assisted each individual to feel more connected with one another and proud of their achievements. Trent provided a space of acceptance, understanding and encouragement, Youth that had never felt connected before within such group spaces, now had somewhere to come and connect with an adult who supported them well and other youth who quickly became friends.”

“I have participated in group art therapy in person and over zoom and enjoyed it all.
Trent has a way of engaging everyone, allowing them to be comfortable to share their art work and express their feelings and experiences. He has a way of making you feel really seen and accepted. Trent often surprised me with what he could tell me about myself just from some basic drawings that had only take 5 minutes to complete. The activities were fun and insightful.
Trent opened my eyes to some beliefs I had about myself, that I wasn’t aware of, which has helped me to put more effort into that part of my life. Thank You Trent.”

I can’t recommend Trent highly enough for his professionalism, his ability to connect with participants and knowledge in relation to implementing a therapeutic approach through art.”

“Trent has been conducting our Art Therapy at Pakenham Library for the past seven months. During this time, the engagement with this program has rapidly increased. This is mostly due to the wonderful rapport he has developed with his clients and the high quality of the program he delivers each month. Trent is easy to communicate with to coordinate and plan his sessions within our library service and is always ready to work with us to deliver a timely and comprehensive program. He is a pleasure to deal with and our patrons truly enjoy the way Trent takes great care to provide a nurturing and creative environment, where they feel safe and connected.”
